The ballroom of the Walliserhof, laid for a wedding: long table, flowers, crystal chandeliers

Weddings at the Walliserhof

Here, people laugh.

A family-run house in the Brandnertal, a ballroom with windows on three sides, a kitchen thirty metres from the table — and hosts who are glad when you celebrate.

The walk

From the brook to the church to the ballroom — on foot.

Courtyard garden, church, ballroom and winter garden sit next to each other here — a wedding day without a car. If you like, we walk it with you when you visit; it makes more sense than on any page.

  1. Courtyard garden by the Alvierbach

Open-air ceremony in the garden, the brook behind you. If the valley decides otherwise, it is twenty steps into the dry.

  2. 300 m on foot

    Church Maria Himmelfahrt

Along the side street, no main road. The whole party walks over together — the moment every photographer loves and nobody plans.

  3. Reception at the church square

After the ceremony you stay where you are — at the Walser ensemble in the middle of Brand.

  4. back to the house

    Ballroom in the Scesa wing

Windows on three sides, herringbone parquet, crystal chandeliers. In the late afternoon the room needs no extra light.

  5. Winter garden and lounge

Dessert buffet once the table is cleared. Dancing in the ballroom, talking in the lounge — without anyone leaving the house.

Before the first call

How many are you?

The most frequent question on the phone — and the only one you can answer in advance. The answer comes from our floor plan, the one we set the tables by on the wedding morning.

Why us

Eight things that are simply part of it here.

  • Family-run since 1896

A Vorarlberg house in the Brandnertal — an address your parents already know.

  • Real people, real service

One person for your day, and a team that has carried many weddings.

  • Design in the middle of nature

A ballroom with windows on three sides, herringbone parquet and crystal chandeliers — outside, the Alvierbach and the mountains.

  • Cooked by hand, from the region

Our own kitchen a few steps from the table, meat from the farmer in Rankweil, home-made sorbet, vegan just as gladly — and the menu can change until shortly before the day.

  • Your guests can stay with us

Rooms in the house: everyone books and pays themselves via the link in the invitation — or the rooms go on your overall bill. The next day, a generous brunch at the Walliserhof Hochsitz.

  • Fair packages, no hidden rent

Ballroom, winter garden and courtyard garden are included; drinks as a package into the night, the photo booth as a package you can add. Every line is in the offer before you say yes.

  • Walliserhof Wedding App with your couple’s cockpit

Invitation by link, replies, your guests’ menu choice and allergies, the seating plan — everything comes together here in the house.

  • Photo booth to add, with online gallery

Strips printed on the spot, every picture online afterwards — and through the Walliserhof Wedding App your guests add their own snapshots.

Us

The people who unlock the ballroom.

You talk to the ones who set the tables on the wedding morning. One person, one line, every agreement in the house. There are no fireworks here — Ludmilla and the horses say thank you. Instead the bar stays open as long as you like.

In the evening

Heirloom

Stag and goose get married here every year.

Our fabled creatures come from old engravings — they appear on the cards, in the photo booth, on the place cards. The lace around them is a museum piece. Look closely on the day and you find them all over the house.
